”Being depressed, autistic or mentally challenged in some way don’t always bring forward the pleasent and appreciated sites of your personality. It can make it difficult til coexist with others and make you seem cold and dismissive; even though this is not the case. Going to therapy helped me figure out how all the implicit social norms work and how to act according to them; thereby not said that you shall change yourself to fit the norms but instead that learning how other people act and react to minimise being misunderstood.”
