Autonomy

“Over ten years I began my battle with anorexia. I’ve lost and gained, literally and metaphorically. After a decade I’m proud to say I have finally entered treatment. For so long I was terrified of doctors, of being told what is “wrong” with me.
I thought I could fix myself, and I got myself pretty damn far (gained back weight and got regular meals) but the anxiety around food and my body has been controlling me too long. There’s no such thing as self-treatment, help yourself by reaching out. I’m always here to listen to anyone’s story.”
