“When I first told my friend group about my social anxiety they were all really supportive and understanding except for one friend who thought I was overreacting. Obviously that’s the worst thing a person with a mental disorder wants to hear. But, later on I started to tell myself that my emotions and feelings are valid and to just think of them as opinions.
